A Friendsgiving Gathering
Where joy and grief share the same plate
November 29, 2025 • 5 pm
About this Event
Join us for an evening of food, friendship, and celebration at Madre Sanctuary, where we gather to honor the full spectrum of being alive... the grief, the laughter, and everything in between.
This isn’t your typical Thanksgiving dinner.
It’s a reimagined Friendsgiving, one that holds awareness of the holiday’s complicated roots while reclaiming what it was always meant to be: a moment of connection, gratitude, and joy shared in community.
We’ll gather around the table to share a farm-to-table feast grown from our own land and neighboring farms. There will be music, laughter, conversation, and storytelling, all wrapped in the warmth of people who care deeply about the earth and each other.
Because being able to celebrate and grieve at once to laugh through what’s hard and still raise a glass, for it is part of how we stay human.
It’s how we resist despair.
It’s how we remember what’s sacred.
