Whether you’re just getting started or looking to build on what you already know, this series will give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to grow successfully right here in Calgary.
🌿 What to Expect
Each session is interactive, practical, and easy to follow, with real examples you can apply right away.
You’ll learn how to:
- Work with Calgary’s climate (not against it)
- Grow your own food—from spring planting to year-round options
- Choose and care for plants that actually thrive here
- Build skills over the season as your garden evolves
Dates:
- May 14 – Edible Gardening (Spring)
- June 11 – Edible Gardening (Summer)
- August 6 – Growing Fruit in Calgary
- September 10 – Indoor Edible Gardening
All sessions run 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the DCA.
