Rooted Expressions: An Art Show, Market & Raffle Benefiting the Panzi Foundation

Join us on Sunday, April 13th, from 7–10 PM at Mayday Space (176 Saint Nicholas Ave, Bushwick) for a community night of art, music, and collective care—all in support of the Panzi Foundation & Hospital (@panzifoundation) in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This event will feature a gallery of original artwork, live painting, live performances, a DJ set, an art & healing market, a wellness table, and more <3

Panzi provides survivors of sexual violence in the DRC with compassionate, evidence-based, and high quality holistic care. Panzi serves as a safe space that supports physical healing and emotional recovery, rebuilds livelihoods, and contributes to the long-term, sustainable restoration of Congolese communities. All proceeds from this event will go to supporting the work of the Panzi Hospital & Foundation and will be allocated to the area of greatest need.
