AFRICA VIBES is a workshop series hosted by YENSA Festival, inviting Black Women instructors to share their knowledge of movements connected to the African diaspora with the community.

ROOTED & RISING

After a successful first year of programming, YENSA Festival is excited to announce its AFRICA VIBES Fall series: Rooted & Rising!

Join us as we welcome Chenise Mitchell, who will guide participants through Jazz and its deep connections to African dance and rhythms, and Lua Shayenne, who has been deeply engaged in intensive training this year and is eager to share her growth and passion for West African dance.

This season offers a unique opportunity to LEARN, CONNECT, and CELEBRATE the roots and evolution of dance.

With 4 workshops in the series, you can register for a single class, or save money with our 2 and 4 class packages!
