ROOTED: An Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony
Join us for ROOTED, an intimate morning gathering at Palette Studio celebrating the rich tradition of the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. This experience invites guests to slow down, engage the senses, and connect through coffee, culture, and community.

Full Ceremony Ticket — $55
Arrival: 9 AM
Begin the morning with a guided professional coffee cupping led by Emary of Junebug Coffee, where you’ll taste and compare a curated selection of specialty coffees from across the African diaspora. Following the cupping, guests will experience a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, where beans are roasted and brewed fresh in real time by our partners at Injera & Beyond. Small bites of Ethiopian cuisine will be served throughout. Guests will also enjoy a live Afro-jazz performance by local artist Ogo Music and ensemble, blending vocals and instrumentation.
Open Ceremony Ticket — $25
Arrival: 11 AM
Join us for the traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony led by our partners at Injera & Beyond, accompanied by light snacks and a live performance by Ogo Music. Pour overs and cold brew provided by Junebug Coffee will also be available. This portion of the morning is designed to be relaxed and open, with time to gather and enjoy the atmosphere.
Full Ceremony guests are invited to stay and continue into the Open Ceremony and Open Studio portion of the experience.
Hosted at Palette Studio, a working artist studio in Austin, the experience unfolds within a unique, art-filled setting.
