Meet us for a celebratory evening that honors legacy, culture, and ignites meaningful connection as we celebrate The Well Collective's past, present and future movement.

“Rooted: A Taste of Culture Through Jazz and Culinary Art” is the official opening to The Well Fest, an inaugural weekend curated by The Well Collective. This signature event blends the richness of gourmet culinary experience curated by some of Richmond’s most visionary Black chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists.

From the first pour to the final note, guests will be immersed in a soulful, multisensory journey through sound, flavor, and storytelling—all set in the historic and beautifully resonant space of the Black History Museum and Cultural Center.

  • Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 PM
  • Jazz music throughout the evening
  • Curated small plates with wine and elixir pairings
  • Storytelling and reflections celebrating culture, legacy, and collective memory
