ROOTCON returns for its 20th year, and this one is special. This year’s theme is Homecoming — a chance for the community to come back together and celebrate two decades of ROOTCON.
For twenty years, ROOTCON has been a place where hackers, builders, defenders, and curious minds gather to share ideas, learn new things, and meet people who care about security as much as they do. It’s where conversations start, friendships form, and the community keeps growing.
ROOTCON 20 is about welcoming everyone back — the old friends who’ve been here since the early days, and the new faces joining the community for the first time.
Recognized as the Philippines’ longest-running hacker conference, ROOTCON blends deep technical talks with the unique hacker culture the community has built over the years.
