Festin' on Frenchmen Late Night heats up at d.b.a. on Frenchmen Street with Jimi Meets Funk, a high-energy celebration of the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix—reimagined through deep funk, soul, and improvisation.

Pedal steel powerhouse Roosevelt Collier leads an all-star lineup for a psychedelic funk tribute that channels Hendrix’s spirit while pushing the music into bold, groove-driven territory. The night features acclaimed guitar virtuoso Eric Gales & 2026 Grammy winner , whose explosive playing and blues-rock fire make him the perfect torchbearer for Hendrix’s influence.

Rounding out the band are world-class players including Terence Higgins and Ron Johnson, plus special guests Pete Murano, Marcus Machado, and Jonathon “Boogie” Long—each bringing their own flavor to this late-night jam.
