A captivating night of Indian classical music with the internationally acclaimed sitarist. Known for her deeply expressive style and genre-crossing collaborations, Roopa Panesar brings the timeless beauty of the sitar to life in a performance that blends tradition with innovation. For this special concert, Roopa is joined by Harkiret Bahra on tabla, and Bangalore Prakash on Carnatic percussion.
Roopa has performed to sold-out audiences at the Barbican and Southbank Centre. She has collaborated with artists such as Mercury Prize winner Talvin Singh and the Belgian Symphony Orchestra. Her musical journey began at a young age, guided by the legendary Ustad Dharambir Singh ji MBE from the age of seven to now. It has taken her to stages around the world – from BBC broadcasts to film soundtracks (‘West is West’) and royal commemorations.
