A 2025 Tribeca Film Festival World-Premiere Feature Selection, this documentary follows New York City dancer and choreographer, Jenn Freeman, as she battles to find meaningful connection through the language she knows best – dance.
Director Biography - Alexander Hammer
ALEXANDER HAMMER is a Director & Editor who explores many dimensions of storytelling. His work spans from scripted film & TV, feature documentary and music video to interactive content, experiential storytelling and live performances. Sparked by his last documentary film experience with Amy Schumer, his passion for character and storytelling has grown exponentially with the two of them re-teaming to tell this new story. By bridging the film, music, fashion, and performance industries, Hammer's work has taken him all over the world. With those experiences and collaborations, he has developed a unique point of view with how to bring unscripted stories to life. Selected credits include: Expecting Amy (HBO Max), Homecoming: A Film By Beyoncé (Netflix), Lemonade (HBO), Taylor Swift 1989 Tour(Apple Music), J+B On The Run (HBO), Madonna Rebel Heart Tour (Showtime). He also continues to work with artists such as Selena Gomez, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, Sia, and Nicki Minaj on a variety of projects.
