About this Event
Let’s be honest: it’s easy to love people who are kind, generous, and aligned with our values. It’s much harder to love the ones who’ve hurt us.
The ones we disagree with or push every emotional button we have.
But what if compassion isn’t just a gift to them—it’s a form of freedom for you?
This 1-hour sound bath meditation invites you into the ancient practice of Metta, or lovingkindness, not as a way to force warm feelings—but as a gentle, spacious practice of softening what’s hardened in us.Because when we hold on to anger, resentment, or judgment, we often carry more of the weight than the person we're holding it against.
In this divided and reactive cultural moment, loving your neighbor—especially the difficult ones—isn’t passive. It’s radical. It’s a reclaiming of your inner peace, your emotional clarity, and your capacity to show up in the world without becoming what you’ve been hurt by.
Supported by Solfeggio frequencies—ancient sound waves that calm the nervous system—you’ll be guided through a musical meditation using live guitar and crystal bowls. These healing tones create a safe space for your nervous system to settle and your heart to open.
Afterward, you’ll join a small group (2–3 people) for a gentle, guided reflection to help you integrate what surfaced and connect meaningfully with others.
This gathering is open to all—no matter your beliefs or where you’re starting from.
Note: Yoga mats, cushions, and blankets will be provided.
