One not to be missed. Saturday 1 March will see three of our very finest musicians in the country making their debut at the BT Blues Club. Ronnie Greer brings his Blues Trio to the BT Blues Club. Ronnie Greer has been at the centre of the blues scene in Northern Ireland for over 50 years now, and has shared the stage with some of the leading figures of the genre, including Dr.John, Memphis Slim, and Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, to name but a few.
John McCullough is quite simply the finest keyboard player in the country, first call for many leading artists including Sinead O’Connor, Andrew Strong, and also collaborating recently with Van Morrison, and a core member of Ronnie Greer’s band.
Peter McKinney on drums, now anyone who has seen or heard Peter will know he is one of the finest blues and jazz drummers around. A first call for Ronnie's All Star Band and many others, Peter has also toured and recorded with the Waterboys, Van Morrison, Mary Coughlan and is a first choice for session and studio work.
Together, these three create an eclectic mix of blues, roots, soul, and a little jazz tinged set list, played with style and conviction.
As this will be one of the biggest gigs of the year, please contact Looi on FB or by text on 07724843931 to reserve your ticket and place.
Doors open 3pm, everyone welcome
