The First in a New Drawing Exhibition Series created by Ron English, Delusional Frames marks the first chapter in a new drawing-focused exhibition series by English.This show pulls back the curtain on the drawing process behind his recent Delusionville video series, offering a rare look at how ideas move from hand to screen.
This exhibition also launches an ongoing gallery series, and as part of the program, English will participate in a live-streamed artist talk on Jan 29th, discussing this process in depth.
English draws a clear parallel between contemporary AI tools and the printing presses of the turn of the century, seeing both as technologies that expand artistic reach rather than replace the artist.
These are not just works on paper. They are blueprints for a whole artistic vision, and the quiet ghosts inside the machines.
