She was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014, and her album The Blues Never End (2021) spent over four months in the top six albums on the Roots Music Report’s Acoustic Blues chart, with several weeks at Number One. Following a win in the Hudson Valley Blues Society Solo/Duo Challenge she was a semifinalist in the 2023 International Blues Competition. Beyond performing, Wininger has produced award-winning music documentaries for public radio and hosted radio shows. She is the creator of the “Our Song” program which empowers people of all ages and abilities to write their own songs.
