This is a character-driven duology that follows one central arc across both books. Along the way, we’re introduced to some powerful mentors, professors, and guiding figures who shape the main character’s journey in very different ways...some helpful, some questionable, but all worth talking about. There’s a lot to unpack in the relationships and the choices made under pressure.
