Join us for a talk from the Uncovering Roman Carlisle team about women’s lives in Roman Carlisle. What do the finds from the Cricket Club dig tell us about the women who lived here – their brooches, hairpins, drinking vessels and altars all give us clues.

Alexandra’s talk begins at 1.15 and the Uncovering Roman Carlisle talk begins at 2.45pm. There will be a 20 minute break between the two talks.
