Japanese Classics of Virginia Car Club presents the 24th Rollin' Up the Blue Ridge Cruise!Though this event is hosted by JCVA, any car/truck/bike/hovercraft are welcome, of any make/model/vintage.
We will be meeting at ***9:30am*** at Devils Backbone Basecamp (the main location near Wintergreen, NOT the Lexington outpost).
The first portion is a bit of a meet and greet for about an hour. At 10:30-10:45 we will then proceed down 151 and take 56 (Crabtree Falls) over the mountains. We will regroup at Smiley's Travel Center (or the parking lot across the street) to let the brakes cool. Then we will go our separate ways, but some of us will likely take Blue Ridge Parkway to lunch at Basic City Brewing in Waynesboro, maybe stopping at the Afton overlook on the way. Rain date is the following day - Sunday October 26th
For everyone leaving from Richmond, VA. We will be meeting at Wawa near 288 on Broad St, at 7:00, and leaving no later than 7:30am sharp. We will be taking Route 6 out there, just as a head's up. It's a much nicer drive than sitting on 64.
