Join Mixtape Sapphics for a casual, low-pressure board game night centered on connection, conversation, and community — with good food and drinks along the way.
We’ll be gathering in a dedicated space just for us in the Kitchen Bar on the main floor at Salazar, an industrial-chic spot perfect for spreading out games, chatting, and lingering over dinner or happy hour.
What to expect
- A relaxed, self-directed board game night
- A variety of games available — from easy, jump-in-anytime options to slightly more strategic picks. You can also bring a game you want to play.
- Open tables where you can start a game, join one, or just hang out and talk
- A welcoming vibe whether you love games, are game-curious, or mostly want to socialize
Come solo or with friends — it’s easy to jump into a game or just chat.
Food & drinks
This is a games + dinner + drinks kind of night.
- Happy Hour runs 4–6 PM
- Dinner and drinks are purchased separately from the venue
- You’re encouraged to grab food and/or drinks while you’re there — it helps us keep getting invited back in spaces like this

- Folks looking for community without forced icebreakers

Do I need to know how to play board games?
Not at all. Games will range in complexity, and there’s no pressure to play if you’d rather just socialize.
Can I arrive anytime?
Yes — this is a casual, drop-in style event anytime between 4–8 PM. If you come and several games are in play, chat until a new round starts or start a new one with folks also just arriving.
Is dinner included in the ticket price?
No. Dinner and drinks are purchased separately from the venue.
