Entries for the in hand classes 1, 2 & 10 need to be before 9.50am

In Hand starts at 10am - Class 1 only will start then after both rings will run in unison
Ridden starts at 2pm
Rosettes are to 6th place
All 1st placed competitors are entered into the Championship for In Hand or Ridden.
Champions and their reserve receive a rosette & sash.
We have our resident photographers whose work will be displayed on the page after the event, so any photo's required please contact them directly.
We have a catering van on the show ground and toilet facilities are on the Sanctuary yard across the road.
We are a perfect Show for introducing youngstock & new competitors to the showing world, offering a friendly atmosphere along with a warm community spirit.
We aim to resume the points system this year, so all members will accumulate points for their place within each class. The overall winner will be revealed at the presentation evening where we will have a winner for each class for the season.

Judged on cleanliness & neatness of both horse & handler

Horse or pony any height & breed under 4 years old.

4. Mountain & Moorland Large Breeds – Purebred
Welsh C & D, New Forest, Fell, Dales,Connemara & Highland etc
5. Condition - Open
6. Mini Handler - 4 - 10yrs
Not to have won more than 5 x 1st this season
7. Junior Handler 11 - 16yrs
Judged on your ability to present & show your horse/pony in-hand
8. Best Rescued - OPEN
Photo evidence of horse/pony required for the judge to see the transformation
9. Best Part Bred - Open
In Hand – Ring 2. 10.15 approx Start
10. Veteran Horse / Pony 18 years & over - this class starts after class 1 finishes
11. Best Gelding - OPEN
12. Mountain & Moorland Small Breeds – Purebred
Welsh A & B, Exmoor, Dartmoor and Shetlands
13. Multi Coloured - OPEN to all types
Includes Piebald, Skewbald, Spotted, Roan, Palomino, Dun & Dilutes
14. Senior Handler – Handler 17yrs & over
Judged on your ability to present & show your horse/pony in-hand

Judged purely on ridden skills such as correct diagonals, correct leg in canter etc - Snaffle bridle only & no spurs.
NB: You are unable to enter this class as well as class 22
22. Purely Novice Rider 14yrs & under
“No Pressure Class”- walk & trot only
Ideal for those who are new to the showing world. Snaffle bridle and no spurs?
Lead reins are welcome (attached to the noseband), no daisy reins or spurs. Not to have won more than 5x1st this season
NB: You are unable to enter this class as well as classes 21 & 26
Ridden – Ring 2. 2pm Start-approx

Class may be split into large and small breeds dependent on entries.
25. Mini Rider - Rider 10yrs & under - walk & trot only
Judged on the best rider in walk & trot only with correct diagonals etc. Snaffle bridle only & no spurs.
26. Junior Equitation 11- 16yrs
Judged on the riders performance of control of their horse or pony within the ring- Snaffle bridle only & no spurs.
