We are letting all local business and organisations in the village know, that on the 7-8th June 2025, Clayton Village Hall will be running the Clayton Cultural and Heritage Festival. We are hoping that several of the businesses in Clayton will also open, as we are hoping many people will attend. This has been in the planning for some time now and will celebrate the Bradford City of Culture 2025. It will be over the weekend and will operate from 1-5pm each day.
Many organisations are already involved History Group, St Johns Church, Clayton Gospel Hall, Clayton Baptist Church, Scouts, Guides etc, Horticultural Society, Clayton Village WI, Methodist Church, Clayton Walking Group, Feel Better Gentle Exercise, Library, Youth Services, Bowling Hut, DJ Andy Max, Wild Geese (band) and the Clayton Community Choir, Clayton Golf Club & The Liberal Club to name but a few. We expect and hope that more people/businesses would like to be involved. Each group has ideas about what they will be doing. A full itinerary will be confirmed once everyone has decided.
On Saturday 7th June, in the evening from 7pm, we will be holding a social evening featuring DJ Andy Max, who will start playing at 8pm. This is a free entry event and everyone is welcome, including children. This will be upstairs in the Victoria Suite and the bar will be open for refreshments.
