Ghost Media are bringing the heat to Meow Nui for the first time with a blockbuster double header of texture-laden dance music featuring two stalwarts of the UK sound - ROHAAN & ENIGMA DUBZ.This will be the first time either of these artists has been to Aoteaora, and we're honored to be bringing their sounds together for this one-off showcase.
ROHAAN delivers a complex sound that bridges emotional weight and technical precision. His work stretches across drum & bass, halftime, dubstep and experimental club music, with a catalogue that feels equally at home in headphones or on a dark dancefloor. Rohaan can be considered one of the genre's true prodigies, with releases on a broad range of labels including VISION, Hospital Records, Circus Records, Sable Valley, UKF and Shogun Audio.
Alongside him we have ENIGMA DUBZ, another UK-based producer with a style following in the deep dubstep tradition, firmly rooted in atmosphere and groove. With a uniquely warm and melancholic sound, the sound of Enigma Dubz conveys a journey through the spaces between. He has also released on some serious labels, including DUPLOC, Deep Dark and Dangerous, Slime Recordings and his own Morii Records imprint.
Completing the lineup we have two of our favourite local selectors warming things up - leftfield bass maestro PULSE and supreme dubstep selectress BARBWYRE.
