Are there "safe" chemical rodenticides? How do mouse and rat poisons interact with wildlife in the ecosystem? Speaker Anna Morris, Director of Animal Ambassador Programs at VINS in Quechee, VT, will be exploring the ripple effects of rodenticides in the food web, along with the many more sustainable alternatives to controlling rodent populations in and around our homes.

This is the fourth installment of the A Scientist Walks Into a Distillery speaker series, held in partnership with Vermont Distillers in Marlboro Vermont. Join us on the second Thursday of every month for a tasty drink and some yummy science! Doors open at 5:30, with the talk starting at 6:30. Cash bar and light snacks will be available. These programs are free, but donations are appreciated.
