'Choro' is the first established genre of Brazilian music, with its origins going back to the 19th century. For the first time in its long history, Salisbury will experience the beauty and swing of this music in public in its most traditional form, the 'RODA'. Musicians sit around a table a play the tunes in what could be defined as an 'organised jam session'.
If you join as a musician, you can play by ear or with music. We will have some tunes in printed score for people to share on the day (also in versions for instruments in Bb and Eb).
