About this Event
About this event:
This highly anticipated event sells out every year. Join 500-plus women and a few good men for this unique three-day experience!
When one woman helps another, amazing things can happen.
That's what the Women in Technology conference is all about. The conference brings together women at every level in every technology field to connect, educate, and inspire. From the classroom to the boardroom, women come together to help bridge the gender gap and recognize, honor, and promote women who make significant contributions to STEAM in our community and beyond. Not in technology or not a woman —that's okay. All are welcome, and there is something for everyone to walk away empowered and inspired!

Bringing women back to the center of our economy.
If nothing is done to change the current trends, young women will lose the race for the high-value, high-productivity jobs at the heart of the digital economy.
Why do we need more women in tech?
Diversity of thought leads to better problem-solving. Collaborating with individuals of different genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and races leads to increased innovation and enhanced problem-solving. Holding more corporate leadership roles leads to increased revenue. In a survey published in a Peterson Institute for International Economics working paper, researchers found that gender diversity is indeed profitable for companies, examining 22,000 firms globally.
The ability to tap into the most significant single economic force in the world: American women. According to a survey by Catalyst, women control approximately 73 percent of all household spending in the United States.
