SORRY ... WE'RE SOLD OUT.Let's Dance Rock and Roll Nambucca Heads and Nambucca Heads RSL Club presents a weekend of Rock and Roll dance on February 6th to 9th, 2025, in the auditorium of the Nambucca Heads RSL Club (good size dance floor). This year we've added another event to make this a not-to-be-missed event. All bookings are to made through Helen on 0417646424, and not through the Club.
Seven great events for you to attend:
1. Thursday 6th February, 6 - 9pm - Social Meet & Greet Dance night. Come along and join us for dinner at 6pm, followed by music and a little teaching from Let's Dance Rock and Roll at 7 - 9pm. This is a FREE event.
2. Friday 7th February, 7 - 11pm - Entertainment by The Drive-Ins'. Dress up in your best gear and enjoy this impressive local 50-60s Rock and Roll band. Having wowed their audience at the last 3 years events, they're back to do it again with plenty of great 50's-60's music in their repertoire. This year we have changed this night to a private event, that being a CHARITY night to aid the local Macksville Hospital, with the petition across from the public areas. Entry is only via your booking and payment of $10 per person, with Helen on 0417 646 424.
3. Saturday 8th February, 11am - 1.30pm 'Classic Car Show' in the carpark of the Nambucca RSL Club, Classic and vintage cars will be in attendance at this car-lovers event. Come along and be amazed at how these vehicles are loved and pampered. No entry fee, it's FREE.
4. Saturday 8th February, 1 - 4pm Stevie B - We have so much talent here on the Mid North Coast and Steve is exactly that. He often entertains along the Coast and we are very privileged to share his talents with you with his full range of 50's - 60's songs. This is another FREE event.
5. Saturday 8th February, 7-11pm 'Juke Box Jive Dance Band' - You're in for a treat with entertainment from this fabulous Sydney 50s-60s Rock and Roll band. Mark and his band members have over 30 years of experience entertaining the crowd with the best of the best music. We're sure you'll be on the dance floor all night with their great dance beat. Tickets available for just $30 from Helen on 0417 646 424. Bookings are a must, and this will sell out fast.
6. Sunday 9th February, 11am - 12pm 'Rock and Roll/Partner Dance Workshop' - Only for the attendees at the Saturday night event, Let's Dance Rock and Roll will treat you to a 1+ hour of their expertise assisting you to learn a medium level rock and roll move and a new partner dance. Just rock up to this event. No need to book, and it's FREE.
7. Sunday 9th February, 1 - 4pm 'Bad Sneakers' - our most talented duo. These guys know how to keep you on the floor for the finale of the weekend. So come along and finish up the weekend with the best of the 50s-60s, after the Dance Workshop. No need to book for this one and it's FREE courtesy of the Nambucca RSL Club.
