"There's no crying in baseball!"Head to Midway Village to watch the Rockford Peaches play ball! This hometown team thrilled their fans with some of the best baseball that the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League had to offer. They won four league titles - more than any other team - including three in a row from 1948-50.
When: Saturday, May 23 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
10 a.m. gates open
11 a.m. presentation by Peaches star player Dottie Kamenshek (costumed interpreter)
1 p.m. game time
Families are encouraged to dress up like the 1940's, too! Bleachers will be available, but lawn chairs are welcome.

Admission tickets may be purchased online in advance or in person upon arrival to the event. Admission includes entrance to the Victorian Village and the Museum Center, where you can see our Rockford Peaches exhibit.
Light concessions will be available, as will Peaches merchandise. Hot dogs may be purchased from Bings Food Truck from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is a rain-or-shine event – no refunds will be issued. No pets are allowed, however, service animals are permitted.
Make sure to stop by the Main Museum Center to tour exhibits including "The Girls of Summer," "Many Faces, One Community" and "Camp Grant."
No trip would be complete with stopping in the Gift Shop. There you will find Peaches Sock Monkeys and clothing, bobble head dolls and so much more.
