About this Event
Kick off race week with the Kansas City running community!
Join lululemon on the Plaza for a 3-mile community shakeout run ahead of the Rock the Parkway Half Marathon. Whether you’re running the race that weekend or simply looking to connect with other runners, this event is designed to bring the community together to move, celebrate, and get excited for race weekend.
We’ll start the evening with a short welcome and a few words from our run ambassadors before heading out for a conversational-pace run around the Plaza. The route will begin and end at the lululemon store.
After the run, return to the store for a post-run community hangout featuring:
- Private shopping
- Product testing and giveaways (featuring FleetFeet, Supplement Super Stores, and others)
- Local wellness vendors
- A live DJ
- Light bites and refreshments
This event is all about celebrating movement, connecting with the local running community, and building momentum leading into race weekend.
All paces are welcome — bring a friend and come run with us!
