Join HAP in partnership with SOLVE and Hands On Portland for a large-scale cleanup of the riverbank at Duckworth Dock. Human Access Project endeavors to make all Portland beaches and swimming spots safe, clean, and accessible to everyone. SOLVE brings communities together to take care of our environment and enhance our waterways. We hope you can join and help us make a difference. We will be picking up rocks and concrete chunks, clearing vegetation, and removing trash to improve access. Many hands make light work, this is an opportunity to make a major improvement to what has become a popular swimming spot.Meeting Location: Meet at Peace Memorial Park, NE Lloyd Boulevard & Northeast Oregon St, Portland, OR 97227
The group will walk down to Duckworth Dock together at 10:00.
