December 3, 2025 Update: The 2025 Robeson County Holiday 5K and Fun Mile, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, has been cancelled due to the threat of winter weather. Join us for the Robeson County 5K and Fun Mile run/walk event on Saturday, Dec. 6. Proceeds from this event will go to the UNC Health Southeastern Foundation’s Equip, Empower, & Enrich Fund, which provides direct resources for UNC Health Southeastern teammate advancement through continuing education, advanced training, and certifications.
Participants may run or walk the course, which travels through The Oaks neighborhood in Lumberton. The first 200 people to register for the 5K race will receive a long sleeve t-shirt. The top 200 5k finishers as well as all kids (12 yrs and younger) that participate in the Fun Mile will receive a commemorative medal that can also be used as an ornament.
Stand out in the crowd and show your spirit. Wear your most festive holiday gear! Special prizes will be awarded to selected participants who will be dressed in the most festive holiday gear. Participants and volunteers will receive HL4L credit.
