Robert John Hope is an Irish, Berlin based singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in Americana and alternative folk/rock. In Ireland, he will be known mostly as the man with the distinctive voice and poetic lyrics who fronted the band Senakah, with whom he toured Ireland, the UK and US extensively in the past. He is now back having released his debut solo album ‘Plasticine Heart’.
In his musical career to date he can look back on an range of international press commentary – the British Mail On Sunday described him as having a vocal range veering from “Matt Bellamy style dramatics, to Eddie Vedder and Thom Yorke”, while Rolling Stone Magazine in Germany described his music as being "Americana with real greatness and a lot of sensitivity."
On extensive tours of the US, they performed over 300 concerts across 40 States with acts such as Arrested Development and the late Bernie Worrell, also performing at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, and at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.
In April, 2021 he released his debut solo album - "Plasticine Heart” Recorded on a ship in Berlin’s Treptower Park, this collection of songs broaching reflective yet hopeful themes are a return to form for Robert, the opening salvo in a new period of musical growth for him.

Kilkely released debut self-titled EP in April, 2017,
followed by an Irish tour the same year, and European Tour in 2018.
Part of Famous Gold Watch Records, Berlin.
Kilkelly’s debut album “The Prick & The Petal” released as an art book in collaboration with artist,
Stephanie Hannon, in September, 2019 at Gustav Adolf Cathedral, Berlin.
