Lion’s Choice & Schlafly Bottleworks (7260 Southwest Ave, St. Louis, MO 63143): Schlafly Beer and Lion’s Choice team up for Roast & Toast Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Schlafly’s Maplewood back lot. Kicking off at 4 p.m. ahead of Schlafly’s Sunset Cinema screening of Hocus Pocus, the event reimagines the childhood favorite with festive trunk displays, family-friendly fun, and plenty of seasonal flavor. Guests can sign up for one of 20 trunk-decorating spots ($10 per entry via Toast), which include a free Lion’s Choice sandwich and a complimentary Schlafly beer. Attendees can compete for themed awards such as Best Costume, Best Car Decorations, and Funniest Costume that will be judged by a panel of Schlafly and Lion’s Choice members. Winners will receive Lion’s Choice and Schlafly goodies. On-site, attendees can enjoy complimentary Lion’s Choice sandwiches alongside Schlafly craft beer.

After the Roast & Toast Trunk-or-Treat, guests can stay for the final screening of Schlafly’s Sunset Cinema Series. Hocus Pocus will be showing in Bottleworks’ parking lot at 6:30 p.m. The movie screening is for all ages and is free to attend. Schlafly beer, canned cocktails, kids’ drinks, and a specialty movie-themed cocktail will be available for purchase during the event. Movie snacks such as hot dogs, popcorn, and more will also be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating to watch the movie.
