Festivities kick off with fun daytime activities for the whole family. Then, as the sun sets, the party continues with an adults-only bash and costume contest, known for its elaborate, complex, and outrageous costumes and featuring cash and prizes!
The Legendary CWE Halloween party is FREE and open to the public.
Location: In the heart of the CWE – Centered around Maryland Plaza and Euclid Avenue
Event Schedule:
11 a.m. – Children's Costume Parade with Costume Characters
• Children's parade from McPherson to the main stage at
Maryland for festivities including:
• A dance party, pumpkin decorating, kids crafts and games
12 p.m. – Children Trick-or-Treat to area businesses
1 p.m. – Dog Costume Parade from McPherson to Maryland
• Dog games, contest and winners announced at the stage
(Maryland Plaza and Euclid)
2-6 p.m. – Live Music on the main stage
• 2 p.m. – TBD
• 4 p.m. – TBD
6 p.m. – Street Party Begins
• Street performers and music from the main stage
• Drag performances
• Fire Dancers
• Flash Mob
8 p.m. – Adult's Costume Contest
• All participants must be 18 years or older
• Sign up opens at 6 p.m. behind the main stage
• $25 Single Entry
• $50 Group Entry
10 p.m. – Adult Street Party till Midnight on the main stage
