ROAR Inc are delighted to announce that Emma, Di, and Connie from Hillside CrossFit are undertaking the non-stop 24-Hour Swim to raise funds for ROAR Inc!
Last year was EPIC - the team braved hail, lightning, and hypothermia. They were pulled out of the pool three times because of lightning due to a sudden and unexpected storm, but they simply extended their finish time. They were unstoppable.
Their goal was to raise enough money to run a ROAR school intervention program, which costs $5300. They raised enough money to fund two school programs, and to sponsor 13 athletes in our after-school programs.
