Roamer is real.
Reports of their demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Having cut their teeth right here on Fairfield Avenue, the six band members wandered the highways and byways in anonymity, honed their craft, and grew beards of varying lengths. Emerging from this vision quest in 2025, the boys headed straight to Tiny Bunker Studio to record their recently released album, The American Condition, a musical reckoning of the situation at large.
Following a string of sold-out shows, Roamer proudly brings The American Condition Tour to Park City Music Hall. Fronted on acoustic guitar by singer-songwriter Tim Sather, bandmates pass the instruments around and add layered harmonies to a catalog of original tunes peppered by the sporadic but scrupulously chosen deep-cut cover. A tapestry of sounds (keys, guitars, mandolin, horn section, and the occasional accordion) add the special sauce to Tim’s savory melodies and evocative lyrics. All are kept in line by a rootsy and dynamic rhythm section that sparkles from deep within the velvet pocket. Blending diverse influences of Americana, Bluegrass, Rock and Reggae, their sound is hard to pin down but has been likened to that of The Band’s Music from Big Pink but sans Bob Dylan’s meddling (Tim’s prosody is on par).
Like Sasquatch and the Grays, Roamer is real.
Seeing is always believing.
Lineup:
Tim Sather: Singer-songwriter, acoustic guitar
John Macchia: Drums
Matt Sather: Guitar, mandolin, keys, vocals
Eric Dolecki: Keys, accordion, saxophone, vocals
Bill Conroy: Bass
John Sather: Lap steel/electric guitar, mandolin, keys, vocals (no microphone).
Uncut Gems Horn Section: Zac Whitlock (trombone), Rob Patrick (trumpet)
Founded in the heart of New Haven, The Grove Street Band is a college four-piece named after the street we cross every day on the way to class. We play an imperfect combination of the music passed down to us: R&B, soul, alternative, and classic rock.
Kate Johnson on vocals, Marisa Bello on drums, Aksel Sather on guitar, and Jordan Shevchenko on bass.
Park City Music Hall has a full bar and kitchen available on-site serving craft cocktails, delicious bites and more! Come hungry! The kitchen opens at doors and remains open until you see the "Kitchen Open" light go off.
