I received the following message from Jolene recently, and it is a pleasure to say that there is a presentation booked to which ALL are WELCOME. Please come along to hear what is happening at a grass roots level regarding Motorcycle Road Safety and how you could be involved.
"Last year I was fed up with the false stats and pressure put on our bike community around road safety so I did some research and found RoadSafe. There’s a group for every region and they connect VIC Pol, ambos, local gov, community groups and provide a voice to parliament and the roads minister.
The concerning thing for me was there was no motorcycle representatives on our board, so there’s been no support, money or voice from grassroots getting back to parliament.
I’ve stood up and are making a difference in our area.
There are lots of opportunities for grants and funding for local motorcyclists - I’ve made a point to this year get a local motorcyclist on every RoadSafe board in Vic and connect us all.

I’d love to organise a ride down to Rat and chat more about it with yourself or any of your group who might me interesting in knowing more and representing riders in your area. "
