Celebrate Juneteenth at the RMSC! Join us for a joyful day featuring live performances by local community members, our Black-Owned business bazaar, sweet treats, hands-on activities and crafts, delicious food, education about Juneteenth history, and more!This event will take place at the Museum & Science Center and is included with paid admission. The Black-Owned Bazaar is free and will be held in the RMSC Eisenhart Auditorium.
ACTIVITIES:
• Flag Making: The Juneteenth flag tells the story of the holiday. Create your own flag to tell your story!
• Sensory Room: Take some time out of the day to reflect and enjoy a quiet space with themed coloring sheets
• Freedom is A Strong Seed: Decorate your own mini flower pot inspired by the poem “Freedom” by Langston Hughes. While supplies last.
• Miss Sweet Potato Pie: 1pm Storytime
• Face Painting: Noon-5pm
• 1st Player Video Game: Noon-4pm
