RMS Trio continues to spread the gospel of virtuosity and shred across the Bay Area, the band will make their incendiary debut at Peri’s Tavern on Friday December 27th. The band is drummer Alex Rusbarsky (R), bassist Ryan Meagher (M) and guitarist Matt Saunders (S). All three members grew up in Marin and were friends as children but eventually went their separate ways, before reconnecting years later in Los Angeles. The sound they have developed can be described as a rich cosmic gumbo of country, blues, jazz, rock, funk, and everything in between. They are known for their unique takes on covers in these genres as well as their forthcoming single “Calamari Strut” which hovers between 6 and 12 minutes when played live. The band will be joined by local keyboard legend and gentle giant John Varn to fill out the sound and add an extra layer of musical shenaniganery to the mix. This is not a show to miss!
