About this Event
The Royal Literary Fund are Britain’s oldest literature organisation, who have just launched an engaging programme of free public events which aim to promote writing / reading via RLF writers in the Merseyside area. This is the second event for 2026 in a series of free Royal Literary Fund sessions at Central Library featuring locally based RLF Writing Fellows, all acclaimed published writers, coming together to celebrate great writing!
Join three celebrated writers and Royal Literary Fund Fellows in a free, entertaining panel event, focusing on the joys of reading and the writers who inspire them. This will be an inspiring and thought-provoking hour of readings and discussion with acclaimed novelist Sophie Duffy, celebrated poet Dr David Swann and author Zoë Howe, courtesy of literary charity the Royal Literary Fund, as part of their RLF North project. Hosted by Zoë Howe.
