RIVERSIDE DANCE FESTIVAL
The Riverside Dance Festival is a unique experience in Intensive Summer Study presented by Riverside Theatre and Ballet Vero Beach. Accepted students experienced day-to-day life with Pigeonwing Dance. and had the opportunity to take daily technique classes in ballet and contemporary dance forms from Pigeonwing and Riverside’s own distinguished faculty. They also participated in master classes, open rehearsals, and worked towards the creation of their own work to be performed alongside Pigeonwing in a mixed repertory concert to culminate the festival.

Headed by master choreographer Gabrielle Lamb, Pigeonwing Dance pushes ballet and contemporary dance forms beyond what we currently believe possible. Vero Beach audiences will be treated to Lamb’s Rising, an evening-length work performed to live music, which examines humanity’s rising awareness of our connection to and dependence on the Earth’s oceans.
