About this Event
Our River Worth Water Rangers program is an excitng new citizen science program for the Aire Catchment where Aire Rivers Trust and the River Worth Freinds are running our first large scale chemical sampling survey of the River Worth.
Durring this event we would love to meet new people intrested in geting involved with mapping the pollution problems facing the River Worth from its uper tributarties above Haworth and Gooseye to its confluce with the Aire at Stockbridge.
THe event will include practical demonstrations of water sampling techniques and equipment used as part of the Homepage - Water Rangers sampling process.
Come along to find out more and learn how to get involved with this exciting new project.
This event will repeat every second Saturday of the month to allow new volunteers to learn the sampling process. Running alongside this experianced volunteers will be out sampling the wider River Aire Catchment at the same time .

The event will take place on North Beck and other river sites surrounding the Worth Way.
Parking: is availarble in Morrisons Car Park please sign in with a member of event staff to recive a parking pass.
What You Need: We will not be entering the water on the day, so volunteers need sturdy footwear and warm waterproof cloathing suitarble for an outside event, alongside any Medic*tion needed to stay healthy.
