River Sounds is going bigger than ever in 2026, expanding to a huge two-day celebration that kicks off with a brand-new Opening Night on Friday May 15, proudly presented by Great Southern Nights. The Friday lineup brings together iconic Australian acts and rising stars for one unforgettable night at the Bellingen Showgrounds.The party continues on Saturday May 16 with the full River Sounds experience across four stages, food vendors, art and an electric festival atmosphere from afternoon to late, it’s set to be the biggest River Sounds yet!

Youth and Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the festival.
Wet weather shouldn't be an issue at River Sounds. Our outdoor stages are covered, as is the bar and food area, and the electronic stage is indoors.
