The River Museum's inaugural Pawspital will be accepting patients for checkups on Saturday, Oct. 11. From 9:30 AM - 12 PM, children and their families are invited to bring their stuffed animal or doll for a checkup from local healthcare professionals and meet doctors and clinicians in a stress-free environment. Hospitals and doctors' offices can be scary for children, but everyone loves coming to the River Museum! Children will be able to assist the healthcare providers during the checkups for a hands-on experience.The Pawspital will have an on-site Emergency Room for minor repairs and the Museum Stores will be offering a discount on stuffed animals and plush.
The event is included with general admission or membership.
