About this Event
Join Adam and Kimberley for a hands-on Riverfly ‘sampler’ demonstration
Meet the diverse larvae that live in the Brue’s gravelly bed and provide food for its brown trout… a fascinating window into the health of our local waterways
Alongside, we will tell the story of how fresh “yellow fish” with help us ensure there is “only rain down the drains” (i.e. the hundreds of roadside gullies around the town, all flowing into the Brue)
A chance to slow down, connect with nature, and explore how healthy rivers support not just wildlife, but our own wellbeing too
Join us from 10 am on Saturday 17 May at the Stepping Stones, by Packhorse Bridge: what3words joys.sock.glad
This 'sampler' is the second-half of BrueCREW's contribution to Good Company's "Bruton Boost – Wading into the Brue will not be necessary, but is allowed if you want the fully immersive Riverfly boost
While free to attend, BrueCREW and the Brue always appreciates any donations
