About this Event
Join Growing Works for a relaxed and creative River Glass Jewellery Making Workshop, where you’ll transform hand‑collected river glass into a unique piece of jewellery to take home. Guided step‑by‑step, you’ll learn simple techniques for working with naturally tumbled glass, explore design ideas inspired by water and nature, and enjoy a calm, friendly crafting session outdoors. Our fabulous friends at EPIKS picked the river glass out of the River Colne on their voluntere task days.
This workshop celebrates reuse, mindfulness, and the quiet beauty of found materials. No previous jewellery‑making experience is needed — just curiosity and a love of making something meaningful with your hands.
Come connect with nature, slow down, and leave wearing something truly one of a kind.
No experience needed, all materials provided.

We have a 'nice' compost toilet on site with hand washing facilities
A 'brew shed' which is a gorgeous, sheltered meeting area.
We have 'eco grid' paths which make it easier for wheelchair users to get around
We have chairs and tables.
What do I need to bring?
As this is an outdoor event, you will need to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Wrap up and wear layers if its chilly.
