After a hugely successful October event, River Fest will be back again next year on Saturday 7th March along the beautiful river just under the Singing Bridge in Moira Parade, Hawks Nest.All of your favourite events will be back including the Prawn Eating Comp, Duck Derby, Free funny Dog Show, 3-legged, sack, egg & spoon races, the fantastic petting zoo, pet an alpaca, cuddle a gorgeous gelato coloured chook or a baby goat.
Great Lakes FM will be broadcasting 'live' again from RIVER FEST.
There'll be FREE pickleball to play, golf bucket fun and a much, much more.
Live Music from 1pm. The awesome Newcastle/Port Stephens band, 'UNIT 20' will be playing so bring a rug, grab something to eat and drink from our 60 fantastic stalls and remember it's FREE to attend.
RIVER FEST, continues to grow, supporting charities and not for profit organisations such as the Myall Times Incorporated, Tea Gardens Soccer Club, Myall River Junior Footie (Hawks) Footie Club, Myall Art & Community Centre, Tea Gardens Bowling Club, Free Clinic Bus and Boomerang Bags along with local businesses.
This is a free community event, suitable for ALL AGES AND ABILITIES.
