Love the outdoors? Want to make a real, visible difference? River Care is for you! 🌿🌊Join us along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River for a meaningful morning of land stewardship. You’ll enjoy a beautiful hike while helping remove litter that pollutes our waterways and puts wildlife at risk, all while setting a positive example for other visitors on the trail.
Please plan to arrive by 10:00 AM. We’ll provide all the necessary supplies, including grabbers, bags, and buckets. If you have gloves, we encourage you to bring them along, plus a can-do attitude and a passion for keeping nature safe.
This opportunity counts as 2 hours of volunteer service, and park entry is free for those volunteering.
Whether you’re a hiker, birder, angler, or simply someone who cares about the outdoors, this is a great way to give back. And who knows-- you might just meet a new friend or future hiking or fishing buddy along the way.
Help us care for the river that gives so much to this land. No registration necessary.
