The Rising Stars Series founded & directed by Professor Mimi Jones originating at The Berklee College of Music, and would eventually manifest into a platform for other Young Lyons to perform. The featured artist this spring is a powerful ensemble of young musicians producing music derivative of the African Diaspora, and modern influences including R&B, Funk, Afro Caribbean, Fusion, Blues, Pop and Jazz. Meet the Band: Blake Duea on guitar, Josiah Rutta on piano, Zoltan Riley on drums, Noah Arroyo on drums. On vocals is Julia Colucci, Mahima Juyal, and Alexander Ortiz-Gonzalez is Vocal & MC. Playing contemporary compositions from incredible artists of the time, this band is will lift your spirits.
