The ARCC Workplace Health & Wellness Council invites you to their annual symposium event - a panel-led discussion that explores the physiology of burnout in our bodies:
- How we can recognize its impacts both personal & collective
- How to respond during the burnout
- Steps to prevent it in the future
Meet our Panelists:
Ruth E. Fish, RN, C-FNP, The Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease at Glens Falls Hospital/AMHS (ret.)
Ruth is a highly distinguished healthcare professional with over thirty-five years of experience across internal medicine, geriatrics, and long-term care. As the former practitioner and current Clinical Educator for the New York State-designated Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease at Glens Falls Hospital, she provides critical diagnostic expertise and professional training for neurocognitive conditions throughout northeastern New York. A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and the Medical College of Virginia, Ruth’s clinical authority is matched by a deep-seated commitment to community service, earning her the Warren County Bar Association’s Liberty Bell Award. Her extensive volunteerism spans organizations such as the Adirondack Samaritan Counseling Center and the Adirondack Welcome Circle.
Erin Krivitski, PsyD, Owner of Erin Krivitski Consulting, LLC
Erin is an experienced professional providing training, staff development, and program evaluation consultation and services to businesses in all industries and sectors. Her educational background and work in health promotion and behavioral health offer a unique perspective to her competencies in organizational development, adult education, project management, workplace culture, and assessment.
Nora Murphy, MPH, CWP, Workplace Health Strategist II of Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP)
Nora is a passionate Public Health professional with 6+ years of experience developing and managing programs aimed at improving health outcomes. In her role as Workplace Health Strategist with CDPHP, a not-for-profit health plan based in the Capital District, she provides consultative support in the planning and management, implementation, and evaluation of wellness programming in the workplace. From strategic program development to personalized activities, she strives to engage individuals where they live, work, and gather to promote healthier lifestyles. She grew up in New England, and when she’s not at work, you will likely find her hiking, reading, or playing her guitar somewhere with a cup of coffee.
Meet our Moderator:
Susan McManus, LCSW, CEAP and Executive Director of Adirondack Employee Assistance Program
Sue has enjoyed a 42-year career in mental health and addiction services both overseas and in the United States. As a military spouse she worked in Germany and Saudi Arabia serving in professional and voluntary roles for service members and their families. She has lived in Glens Falls for the past 29 years and has worked in multiple roles supporting people with mental health and addiction needs. She is currently the Executive Director for Adirondack Employee Assistance Program and serves on the Warren County Community Services Board.
Sue received her Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) license from the Broadland School of Nursing, Norwich England, her Bachelor’s in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from San Jose State University, California, and her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from State University of New York, Albany. She is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and a DOT qualified Substance Abuse Professional.
Sue is passionate about challenging stigma in the mental health and addiction arena.
