For our next Friday night dance on March 6, I am excited to be joining forces with Marnie Devi Hudson from Medicine Dance Sanctuary to celebrate International Women’s Day. Our intention is to come together to amplify the rise of the feminine ways at this time of massive change and upheaval. We have stepped into the New Year of the Fire horse, it is time to rise and support each other to step into boldness and unapologetically be ourselves!
Join us for an uplifting and transformational evening of conscious dance to release all that is ready to be let go of, in order to activate the fire horse energy within each of us. Let us dance to support each other to step into our power, sovereignty, ease and boldness to be ourselves. Emerge energised, inspired and more deeply connected to yourself and what you are creating this year.
What to expect.
Marnie will be serving her delicious Cacao to begin our dance, softening our hearts and minds.
Michelle will lead the first dance wave, a 5Rhythms dance journey to come home to our body, soften and awaken our sensuality, and lusciousness and find more ease and flow within.
Marnie will lead the second dance wave to ignite our inner fire, with a celebratory wave uniting our hearts – bodies – minds.
The evening will end with a restful integration and a sharing circle.
Our vision in coming together to offer this dance is to feel the strength and inspiration in solidarity, dancing together with a shared intention amplifies qualities in us that are ready to shine, and elevates the voice and vibration of feminine energy on the planet so needed in this time of great upheaval where the old patriarchal ways are dissolving..

All who identify as women are welcome.
No dance experience is necessary.
Women who may be currently healing from chronic illness are especially welcome to join this healing field.
If you cant dance for the whole time, you can take it at your own space and rest.
Lets keep the dancing space safe.

BIOGRAPHY
Michelle Mahrer is an embodiment mentor, 5Rhythms dance teacher, dance therapist and an award winning film maker. She is passionate about the healing and transformative power of dance and has dedicated her life to embodiment as a healing art, as a participant, a dance facilitator and a film maker. She has been leading dance classes, workshops & retreats in Sydney, Melbourne & internationally for the past 25 years and is one of the pioneers of Conscious Dance in Australia cocreating the first conscious dance in Melbourne with Liat Lev in 2000. She is the director of Radiance Dance 5Rhythms a vibrant dance community in Sydney which has been running for 15 years. Michelle offers classes, workshops, womens retreats, and 1:1 dance movement therapy sessions. Michelle had the privilege of learning and working closely with Gabrielle Roth the founder of 5rhythms dance. Gabrielle invited her to direct all her teaching videos. She has made numerous award winning films about dance including "Dances of Ecstasy" a sensory journey into the world of trance and ecstasy experienced through dance and rhythm which features Gabrielle Roth. Michelle is also featured in international best seller book called Warriors of Light where she authored a chapter about her work with dance.

is passionate about creating sacred Women’s events; curating experiences that nourish and liberate, create safety, embodiment, connection and cultivation of the divine feminine energy as a medicine path.
As a creative artist and facilitator; dance, yoga, meditation, ritual, along with various transformative and restorative practices has been a constant ally to provide deep nourishment and support to my life. I feel endlessly moved and called to be of service in the continued awakening of these experiences.
I trained early on in many forms and techniques of dance, but it was really through the transformative and liberating nature of the free-form dance movement of 5 Rhythms and Ecstatic Dance, that I discovered an authentic, heart-centred reclamation of truth, authentic expression and awakened healing.
In 2014, Marnie completed her teacher training with Malaika Darville to facilitate 5 ELEMENTS DANCE. Soon after Medicine Dance Sanctuary was born. Ever since, she has been holding Medicine Dance and her offerings on local dance floors, collaborations and at private retreats.

Mid 2020, Marnie turned her practice to an ALL Women's Medicine Dance. With select themes to explore and additional guest co-creators, the full experience offers an opening for a deeper, more wholesome experience. Medicine Dance Sanctuary creates an opportunity for a rich, connected and ever evolving sisterhood to flourish.
Mid 2022, Marnie trained to learn the sacred alchemy of the medicinal magic of CACAO ~ Heart Medicine that brings in another element of awakening, transformation and healing to the Medicine Dance Sanctuary.
It is my heart's calling + prayer that this practice of Medicine Dance becomes a blessing of powerful, conscious, divine feminine medicine for the individual, the community + our Mother Earth, as a way to create a loving ripple effect in this often chaotic world that needs grounding, unwinding, authentic connection, healing and rebirthing so deeply.
