Rise Up & Play: New York

On Wednesday 29th April, The Golf Trust will host a landmark inclusive golf experience at Chelsea Piers, one of New York's premier sporting destinations. This event will welcome participants with a range of physical, sensory and cognitive impairments for an introductory golf experience designed to inspire participation, connection and long-term inclusion in recreational sport.

This event marks The Golf Trust's first US activition serving as a showcase and learning opportunity to support the disabled community of New York City.

Research consistently shows that disabled people are significantly more inactive and socially isolated than the non-disabled population. Despite a desire to participate, many face lots of barriers.

Join us to hear from speakers and share a lunch with like-minded indivuduals. Followed by golf activity on the driving range.
